About Us
The Information Technology(IT) Cell of the court is responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining all information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure. It executes the digitization and e-governance initiatives mandated by the e-Committee, Supreme Court of India under the national e-Courts project. With a commitment to transparency, efficiency, and accessibility, It acts as the backbone of technology-driven court services.
Our Services
- eCourts Project Implementation: Implementation and monitoring of various ICT initiatives under the eCourts Mission Mode Project.
- ICT Infrastructure & Court Room Technology Management: Maintenance and Up-keeping of Software and Hardware i.e. servers, computers, printers, scanners, networking equipment, LAN, MPLS, FTTH connectivity, VC Equipments and court-wide ICT assets.
- System Administration: Administration and management of Servers, database, software applications and networks.
- Website & NJDG Management: Maintenance of the District Court website, publication of court information, and monitoring of data availability on NJDG.
- Video Conferencing & Virtual Hearings: Technical support for hybrid hearings, VC proceedings and Vulnerable Witness Deposition Centre (VWDC).
- Management & Support for Digital Services: Assistance to litigants and advocates in accessing digital court services and online platforms like eFiling, ePayment, Virtual Court, eCourts Services etc
- Technical Support:Providing day-to-day technical support to courts and offices for all IT-related works, including troubleshooting and resolution of hardware and software issues.
- Training: Providing capacity building ICT Trainings for Judicial Officers, Court Staff, Advocates and Litigants.
Infrastructure Offered
The IT Cell provides and maintains the following ICT infrastructure and technology-enabled facilities for the District Court Complex and Taluka Court Complexes:
- 100 Mbps BSNL MPLS connectivity for the District Court Complex and 10 Mbps BSNL MPLS connectivity for the Taluka Court Complexes.
- 20 Mbps RailTel parallel MPLS connectivity for the District Court Complex to ensure reliable network access and service continuity.
- 48-port managed switches supporting the Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure of the Court.
- Dell EMC rack-mounted servers and HPE tower servers for hosting the Case Information System (CIS), Document Management System (DMS), databases and other essential court applications and services.
- Dell All-in-One PCs with 1 TB SSD storage and Intel Core i5 processors for conducting Video Conferencing and Virtual Hearings.
- Acer and Dell desktop computers deployed in courtrooms and offices for Judicial Officers and Court Staff to perform ICT-enabled judicial and administrative work.
- Multi-Function Printers (MFPs) and high-quality scanners for digitization, printing, copying and document management.
- Conference cameras, speaker-cum-microphones, display monitors and image visualizers to facilitate Virtual Hearings and Video Conferencing.
- LAN connectivity provided to computer systems for seamless access to CIS, official email, WMS and other online court applications and services.
- Broadband internet connectivity through BSNL FTTH for internet-based court and administrative services.
- Three-view display systems installed at Stenographer PCs to enable Judicial Officers, Advocates and Litigants to view live deposition during court proceedings.
- Thin clients with display boards installed outside courtrooms for displaying daily case listings and other court-related information.
- Access to SCC Online and LiveLaw for legal research and reference by Judicial Officers.
- Kiosks provided for convenient access to case status and other court-related information by litigants and visitors.
